I thought I’d give you a little background on me. You can read my bio here, but in short I’m a public relations professional with a social media passion, well okay, obsession. I wouldn’t go so far as to call me a tech geek, but I’m almost there. I think social media is today’s industrial revolution. It’s profoundly impacting the way we live, and I like to be a part of it in some small way.
I have a mixed background. I first started out a small start-up agency where I worked for large companies, small retail boutiques, and everything in between. Then I went into a large healthcare organization and then a small economic development nonprofit. All of these positions have given me a unique perspective on communications from large to small, business to business to consumer.
I’m a proud Pennsylvanian where I was born and raised, and attended college. I live with my husband in Bethlehem, Pa. with our two cats Koshka and Dilly. I talk about them a lot. I also talk about my other obsession – Harry Potter. And I like to eat and travel a lot so you’ll probably see me chatting about that every once in a while.
I started this blog after I was fired in a very public manner. It may have been the best thing to ever happen to me. We’ll see. Thanks for coming along on my adventure to find out.
